And regardless of whether you or your child want to start riding or improve your riding skills: our qualified teachers at Gut Enghagen teach you accordingly to you level of experience and knowledge. Riding education
Experience horses playfully and safely!
Children often feel magically attracted to horses. The right way to deal with them can be learned from the age of 4: with our child-friendly riding education program. Here we focus on fantasy, experience, movement and playful exploring. Young horse enthusiasts are also given the opportunity to ride a pony (which is guided by a parent). The perfect foundation for a lifelong love for equestrian sports, established in our family hotel!

Our riding arena (20 by 40 m) is idyllically located, surrounded by green meadows and a magnificent mountain panorama. Our well-trained riding instructors guide children and adults with great patience and empathy. Thus, beginners will feel safe in dealing with the horses and riding quickly. But even advanced riders can improve and learn more.

From a horse’s back, the magnificent mountain scenery surrounding Gut Enghagen looks even more impressive.
Saddle-strong young and older riders can experience the natural beauty of the unique Kalkalpen National park during a guided ride through meadows and forests on their riding holidays in Austria. A certain highlight during your stay at Gut Enghagen will be a joint ride up to our hotel’s own alpine pasture, including an overnight stay with a special atmosphere. By the way: Horseback riding is available all year round! Only the outdoor rides depend on the weather situation in winter.
